GTA 6 trailer reveals game-changing new feature that’s incredibly ambitious | Gaming | Entertainment
Despite the GTA 6 trailer making its debut all the way back in December 2024, eagle-eyed Grand Theft Auto fans continue to discover game changing new details on an almost daily basis. While one high-profile GTA 6 account recently pointed out a number of alleged flaws within the trailer – such as visual glitches and poorly implemented/non-existent physics – another more exciting discovery was made by a user on Reddit. While it’s very much still a theory for now, the user speculates that players will be able to enter far more buildings in GTA 6 compared to previous games. Proof can seemingly be found in a scene in which a homeowner’s garage door is wide open and easily accessible. If you can’t see it very well in the image below, then check out the trailer further down the page and pause at 36 seconds.
According to the post on Reddit, the open garage seen in the trailer backs up a previous leak that around 70% of buildings can be entered in GTA 6.
If the claims are true, then GTA 6 is even more ambitious and the world even more immersive than we could have ever imagined.
It’s possible Rockstar is adding burglaries, petty theft and home invasions to Grand Theft Auto’s already massive list of crimes!
Perhaps we’ll get a better look at new criminal activities and building interiors in the next GTA 6 trailer, which is rumoured to drop on October 4.
Likewise, fans will be hoping Rockstar Games provides a concrete release date and pre-order information when trailer 2 eventually drops.
Grand Theft Auto 6 takes place in the state of Leonida, which is based on Florida.
Rockstar explains: “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”
The trailer gives fans a look some of the map locations as seen from the skies above. This includes locations based on the Florida Keys, as well as the beach and more.
The game is currently pencilled in for an autumn 2025 release date, although we wouldn’t be surprised if the game ended up being delayed, though fingers crossed this isn’t the case.
